Returning favorites with new visuals and tweaks will make up most of the stages in Super Smash Bros.

Legendary game worlds and fighters collide in the ultimate showdown: a new entry in the Super Smash Bros. series for the Nintendo Switch system! Nintendo and series creator Masahiro Sakurai managed to pack a lot into its relatively short running time, covering everything from new stages and characters to new assist trophies and game modes.

King K. Rool, ruler of the Kremlings and enemy of Donkey Kong, will also join Smash.

Additionally, Chrom from the Fire Emblem franchise and Dark Samus from the Metroid series were announced as echo fighters.

Near the end of the Direct, Sakurai gave us a look at the main menu screen. Ultimate bundle that will arrive alongside the regular edition of the game.

Vehicle bomb kills prominent rocket scientist in Syria
A Hamas rocket scientist was shot dead by gunmen in Malaysia in April and a drone engineer was killed in Tunisia in December 2016. According to Hadashot news, Azbar was tasked with improving the range and accuracy of the Syrian regime's Scud missiles.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will release 7 December for Nintendo Switch. We haven't had one of those since The Subspace Emissary in Super Smash Bros. Classic mode, which made its debut way back in the very first Super Smash Bros game for N64, will be returning in Ultimate. Bosses from across the #Castlevania series will appear in this stage, so watch out!

On the Super Smash Bros. Though if you do want some a brand new feature was revealed: Stage Morph! 3-on-3 or 5-on-5 battles will be available, with each player controlling an entire team.

Assist Trophies: Of course, a new whack of Assist Trophies were announced, including Zero (Mega Man X), Knuckles (Sonic), Krystal (Star Fox), Klaptrap (Donkey Kong Country), Kapp'n (Animal Crossing), Chef Kawasaki (Kirby), Gray Fox (Metal Gear Solid), Nikki (Swapnote), Shovel Knight, Rathalos (Monster Hunter), and the damn Moon from Majora's Mask! The Direct also showed a glimpse of the Tourney Mode in Ultimate, which supports up to 32 players and can mix-and-match players in with CPU opponents.

However, it seems as though the Castlevania castle won't officially be recognized as Luigi's final resting place, with Nintendo confirming that the Mario bro is, in fact, "okay".

Training will feature an exclusive stage that measures the distance of moves both at low and high health.
