Juventus have made a sensational bid to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

Real Madrid has denied reaching an agreement to sign France forward Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.

Juventus did not reply to a request for comment on Tuesday night.

Cristiano Ronaldo now plays for Real Madrid in La Liga. That deal was reported to be worth 180 million euros.

Meanwhile, the story on the front of Italy's Tuttosport on Tuesday said Juventus were preparing an offer of almost €120m for Ronaldo.

"Real Madrid has made no offer of any kind to PSG or the player".

Any transfer would still require Ronaldo to leave and agree personal terms on a new contract. "He can play wherever he wants, in any club, he would always do well".

The case is likely to go to trial this fall and may ultimately be decided years from now by the US Supreme Court. But they are very loose in their reading of Supreme Court rulings over the last decade.

The Portugal worldwide is said to expect €30 million (A$47 million) per year to make the move - a figure that could rise to as high as €60 million (A$95 million) with Italian taxes.

Ronaldo's future at Real Madrid has been shrouded in doubt ever since Los Blancos defeated Liverpool 3-1 to win a third straight Champions League in May.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a stunning move to Juventus but who could the Serie A side sell to fund the deal? Last month, he reportedly agreed to pay €18.8 million to settle his tax case.

They also called it the "signing of the century" but Turin newspaper La Stampa, owned by the Agnelli family, who also own Juve, produced a more modest title, saying the club were dreaming of dressing Ronaldo in "bianconera".

Speaking after the game, Ronaldo said: 'We will talk in the future.

"Neymar would have plenty of value regarding both marketing and football", he told Onda Cero.
