After many years of silence, CD Projekt Red recently unveiled their much-anticipated sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077, at the very end of Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference. While the trailer didn't show us any actual gameplay, we have been learning some additional information about the game over the days since.

Character customisation will feature heavily, your cyberpunk character V being male or female with a range of options for making their look unique.

Create Your Own Cyberpunk - Your name is V, and you can be anyone you want to be.

You'll be able to get more and different apartments throughout the game. In doing so, it has also revealed the biggest surprise of all: The game will ditch the third-person view of its The Witcher franchise for a first-person view better suited to the game's gunplay.

The goal is for you to not only engage with the game world, but with its inhabitants.

However, the progression system's contents are centered around three styles of play that do closely match three specific pen-and-paper classes: Solo, Techie, and Netrunner. It's Cyberpunk 2077, forsaking all others.

Game Noir - With its mature approach to storytelling, Cyberpunk 2077 adopts elements of noir cinema and inserts them into the future of video games.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the fictional Night City, in California, which Eurogamer described as vibrant and full of quests to perform; it has six distinct areas.

It's an open world that you open up more with "street cred".

There's a bullet-time-like ability that allows you to slow down time.

Jack In, Run the Net - Night City is fully connected and offers countless cyberspace access terminals. That includes the game's combat which plays much closer to a first-person shooter than fans were expecting.

Returning in Cyberpunk 2077 is CD PROJEKT RED's hallmark of choices and consequences. Offering dozens of activities like side quests and Street Stories, the game is a good fit for both hardcore completionists and gamers who like to focus on instant action.
