LALIGA | FC Barcelona- Villarreal: Así fue la exhibición de Cillessen

According to Spanish publication Sport, Jasper Cillessen has become a wanted man in the current transfer window.

Despite being deputy to German Marc-Andre Ter Stegen for the Catalan giants this season, Cillessen still played a fairly significant part in Barcelona's title winning season.

Cillessen made a name for himself during the Netherlands' World Cup run back in 2014.

Metro Uk reports that Arsenal have made a direct approach to Barcelona's hierarchy to gauge whether a deal for Cillessen is possible.

Liverpool want to sign him as a replacement for Loris Karius, whose disappointing season was summed up in a awful performance against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final.

Melania Trump to skip Camp David trip, marking a 22-day absence
The White House says Melania Trump won't join her husband when he heads to the Camp David presidential retreat for the weekend. A source told the gossip website: 'She's taking care of her mother, ' who is battling a pretty serious illness.

Screaming for a summer move.

Cillessen's club are willing to listen to offers but will not sell him for lower than his £52million release clause.

At Chelsea, Thibaut Courtois's contract standoff has finally ended, with the Blues ending contract talks with the Belgian and his representatives, thus adding wind to the exit rumours that were already rife.

The North London club are in the market for a long-term successor to goalkeeper, Petr Cech, who turned 36 last month. Even if Cillessen proves beyond reach, Arsenal have their sights set on other targets, including Bayer Leverkusen keeper Bernd Leno. The Gunners have appointed a new manager, and are ready for a fresh start. Liverpool have the edge of Champions League football.
