A dragon float from the movie Maleficent caught fire at Disney World's Magic Kingdom Friday afternoon.

Within minutes, a Disney employee with a fire extinguisher doused the flames. There were no injuries to employees or visitors, it was reported.

This happened in Liberty Square at MK during the parade today.

"Celebrate the spirit of Disney as Magic Kingdom park comes alive with music and dance during a tribute to the tales of Fantasyland", Disney's Magic Kingdom website description reads.

According to reports, the fire was extinguished without incident and no one was injured. except for the float. No one yet knows the cause of the accident, but the fire that's normally supposed to project from the dragon's mouth in a brief burst instead consumed much of the dragon's neck.

The head of the dragon which spits flames daily on its parade route went up in flames after an apparent malfunction with the float While guest looked on in awe.
