Apple Could Launch An iPhone With "Touchless" Gestures And Curved Screen

Everything else was background, filler, or speculation, like the notion that Apple might be considering a curved iPhone design in order to "differentiate design" in a "crowded marketplace". As a result, the Apple rumor mill has been working overtime lately.

Instead, you'll be able to move your finger close to the screen to perform actions that would have previously relied on you making direct contact.

Apart from the curved display, Apple is also exploring touch-less gestures for navigation. All iPhones released so far have flat screens with only the iPhone X's OLED screen having a slight near-invisible curve at the bottom. The iPhone X's OLED display has a slight curve at the bottom, but it is negligible. Both the new gesture control and display technologies are still in the early research and development phases.

Apple likes to explore new possibilities with its iPhones, and if the latest reports are true, the Cupertino giant might be looking at some standout features for future iPhones.

Test results come back negative for Warriors' McCaw
As he drove on the baseline, Carter was defending him, and the inadvertent undercut occurred causing McCaw to fall to the floor. The Golden State Warriors have been dealing with injuries for weeks, but this is more important than that.

Apple is staying ahead of the curve by introducing features not found in competitors' models. It is rumored to be working on iPhones with curved screens and controls that work with just the wag of a finger.

Those familiar with Samsung's Galaxy line will likely remember that the South Korean manufacturer has played with simple hand gesture controls in the past, most notably with the Galaxy S4 and S6.

Google is also working on technology using gestures through a program called Project Soli. The touchless gesture control is something that's been implemented in Samsung phones already but Apple's design seems to work on a different principle entirely. It's also working with TSMC to bring the material to upcoming mobile devices.

After three consecutive years of iterative iPhone updates that included nearly no design changes, Apple in 2017 released a completely redesigned iPhone.
