Three people from Virginia have won $10,000 in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing as they successfully matched four of the first five numbers plus the Mega Ball number.

During the overnight hours, lottery officials announced no one matched all five numbers and the yellow ball to win the $458 million.

The $502 million is the largest Mega Millions jackpot since July 8, 2016, when one winning ticket sold Cambridge City, Indiana won a $536 million jackpot.
