The Jaguars also released wide receiver Allen Hurns on Tuesday.

Hurns is an intriguing option at receiver, a position the Saints briefly tested out last week by scheduling a visit with former Green Bay star Jordy Nelson, who ultimately signed with the Raiders before making the trip to New Orleans.

With Allen Robinson now with the Bears, and Hurns set to be released, Jacksonville has given up on the talented wide receiver tandem that took the National Football League by storm in 2015.

The Jets have plenty of money available, especially considering how much they had set aside to make a run at Kirk Cousins.

The Colts have had little interest in the wide receiver market, outside of hosting Ryan Grant, but Hurns is another name comes that to mind.

Hurns would add a viable third option to the Jets offense as a big-bodied receiver. Rookies Chad Hansen and ArDarius Stewart failed to impress last season. He was due to count $7 million against the salary cap next season, per Spotrac.
