"Sister Catherine Rose served the Church with dedication and love for many years and today we remember her life with gratitude", said Los Angeles Archbishop in a statement.

"You have stolen the property of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart".

Hollister bought the property with the help of sisters Rita Callahan and Catherine Rose Holzman from the Immaculate Heart of Mary who claimed they had the authority to sell it. They wanted to sell the property for $15.5 million to businesswoman Dana Hollister, who planned to turn it into a boutique hotel, but the Archdiocese made plans to sell it to Katy for $14.5 million.

The sisters did not have the right to sell the property, as they did not obtain the legal blessings of Archbishop Jose Gomez and the Vatican. They are now in a legal battle against Katy Perry, because the nuns planned to sell the property for a cool $15.5 million to a business woman named Dana Hollister, according to Just Jared.

In a recent documentary created to tell more of the sisters' side, they revealed they approached Hollister themselves to help save the convent as maintenance costs were high.

Chaos at Sydney Airport this morning has left hundreds stranded
The T3 Qantas Domestic terminal is apparently not affected. "And of course security and safety is a top priority". Virgin Australia said that "due to a technical issue" passengers were being processed at reduced capacity.

The sisters said they were unhappy with Perry buying the property, due to her provocative music, with Callanan telling LA Times: "I found her videos".

This is required to approve the sale of any property of $7.5 m. In November of past year, a jury found that Hollister had intentionally interfered with the sale to Perry and a judge ordered her to pay millions to the archdiocese and the singer. Hollister filed for bankruptcy and for now, the judge has put all proceedings on hold.

It is unclear if the case will continue now that the Sister has passed away.

A nun suing singer Katy Perry over a real estate dispute collapsed and died suddenly in court Friday afternoon. They also have issues with the singer herself.

"It's not doing anyone any good except hurting a lot of people".
