Sharma sets pace in Mexico

Shubhankar Sharma held serve on Saturday at the World Golf Championships-Mexico Championship.

When shooting a 62 in the final round of the Maybank Championship last month, he proved that he has what it takes to win in the big leagues.

Pat Perez had three birdies in a four-hole stretch and momentarily tied Sharma for the lead.

He closed with a tremendous par save at the last, calmly rolling in a 15-foot putt to maintain his cushion.

That left him 18 holes away from capping off his unbelievable rise.

Woods followed his 69 in the third round with a 70 on Sunday to finish eight shots back of the top spot on the hard Florida golf course.

Not even looking at the hole and with his body sideways, Hadwin used the big slope to hit his ball way right of the hole before it come all the way back and dropped in.

Mickelson played bogey-free for a 65 and will be in the final group for the first time since the British Open two years ago.

That put him two clear of five-time Major victor Phil Mickelson (65), reigning Masters champion Sergio Garcia (69), Englishman Tyrrell Hatton (64) and Spaniard Rafa Cabrera Bello (69).

Just three strokes behind the surprise leader was Johnson, the defending champion who shot his sixth consecutive round in the 60s at Chapultepec (68) and sounded as ominous as ever.

Rey Mysterio to return to WWE
Cena kicked off the show explaining his actions and that he wants to earn his way to WWE's biggest event of the year. Part of the fact that he is such a big WWE star is due to his look as well as his in-ring skills.

Sharma, the only two-time victor on the European Tour this year who leads the Race to Dubai, didn't blink.

He was at 13-under 200.

Despite two European Tour victories already this season ― in South Africa and Malaysia ― it is fair to say a Sharma victory on Sunday would reverberate around the golf world.

He rolled in a 16-foot birdie putt at 14 to reclaim sole possession of the lead, and he was two clear even after his bogey at 16.

For a player who is almost five years removed from his last victory (2013 Open Championship) the confidence has returned. All of his previous wins have come on African soil.

A year after losing a chance to win the event in his PGA Tour Champions debut when his 3-wood went left into the water on the final hole, Stricker did it again Saturday.

Tolles had an 11-under 135 total.

"It was another level of difficulty, not only the amount of people I was trying to beat, but this golf course", said Thomas.

"I played so well, and the bogeys that I made today were just three-putts. Made a few mistakes coming in, but I've done a fairly good job of the distances and the yardages", said Sharma, reported AFP.

Thomas stuck his approach from 119 yards just behind the hole, it hopped a couple of times and then spun back into the cup for an eagle and final-round seven-under 64.
