Hyundai released its first photos of the new 2019 Santa Fe early February, continuing to tease us with images ahead of the vehicle's official debut late in the month. Cabin design features fewer sharp angles than the outgoing model, adopting more flowing lines for a more upscale appearance.

Hyundai had already revealed some of the details about the 2018 Hyundai Kona and now they have also revealed the new price tag for the vehicle.

Twitter goes to town on Paul Ryan over $1.50 pay rise tweet
But the tweet was quickly mocked and the Wisconsin Republican deleted it within hours. Painter said that Ryan "should be ashamed of himself" for publishing the tweet.

Using the handy Google Translate tool to decipher the press release published by Hyundai South Korea, we are able to learn the KDM-spec model will be offered with 2.0- and 2.2-liter turbodiesel engines joined by a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline unit. Hyundai said this means more room on the inside of the auto.

Additionally, a new server-based voice recognition system incorporates artificial intelligence technology from Korean tech company Kakao to improve functionality and accuracy. The images show off a larger Santa Fe that's wearing a premium new look and packed with new features. This enables the system to recognise more natural speech patterns, such as when asking for route guidance to a specific location. Forward collision warning, lane departure warning, frontal collision avoidance and high-beam assist are all on the cards. There are also a number of other technologies that are either a world first, or a first for the Hyundai Motor Group. It also features Safety Exit Assist which "prevents accidents when vehicles approach from behind by temporarily locking the doors, so that passengers will exit the auto safely". An eight-speed automatic transmission and Hyundai's HTRAC all-wheel drive system are standard across the range.
