Srinagar hospital firing: Two cops injured in firing, Pakistani terrorist escapes

Two policemen were killed on February 6 after militants attacked a government-run hospital in Srinagar that allowed LeT terrorist Naveed Jat to escape.

After snatching a gun from the policeman, the Pakistani terrorist, Abu Hanzulla, opened fire on the policemen.

Police officer Ghulam Hasan Bhatt said two police officers suffered bullet injuries in the attack and one of them died later in Srinagar, the main city in India-controlled Kashmir. Out of them, one snatched weapons from police & fired at the protection party.

A policeman was killed while another cop wounded in firing at SHMS hospital in the summer capital, Srinagar, on Tuesday, official sources said here.

"We are investigating the matter and will find out whether militants helped the escape of the prisoner or he did it himself".
