IOS 11.3 code hints at incoming 'modern' iPad with Face ID

Apple (NSDQ:AAPL) said this week it is introducing a feature allowing customers to obtain, view and keep medical records on their iPhones, continuing the company's experimentation into the healthcare market.

This feature is available for devices such as iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

As we mentioned, the iOS 11.3 update also brings four new Animoji presets to the Messages app, giving users more ways to "express" themselves. According to a recent tweet by the editor of iHelpBR Filipe Esposito, there were some clues found inside of the beta of iOS 11.3 that seems to suggest that there could be a new iPad in the works.

In a somewhat controversial move, Apple is adding a new health records feature to iOS Health app.

iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X are not "yet" included in the power managment system, so will we be able to see our battery health? For now, the app does not include doctors' notes, but Apple may add that someday, and Geisinger already offers that on its MyGeisinger website, said Dr. Jonathan Slotkin, director of spinal surgery for Geisinger's Neuroscience Institute and medical director of a Geisinger program that encourages reaching patients through technology.

Another new feature arriving for iPhone and iPad customers this spring is Business Chat. Those AR improvements will enable users to place virtual objects on virtual surfaces and integrate two-dimensional images into three-dimensional AR experiences. This is a noteworthy detail, as the iPhone X was once referred to as the "modern iPhone".

US, Russian envoys talk Syria after chemical weapons charges
Moscow claimed that JIM's investigations were full of "systemic deficiencies" and speculations and lacked hard evidence. In late August a U.S. intelligence report says with "high confidence" that Syria's government carried out the attacks.

With Business Chat, consumers can conduct a conversation with a company representative, schedule an appointment or make purchases using Apple Pay in the messages app. Business Chat doesn't share the user's contact information with businesses, Apple stated, and users can exit a chat at any time.

They also will receive regular notifications for lab results, medications and other health-related information.

If you have iOS 11.3 installed on an iOS device and tvOS 11.3 installed on one or more new generation Apple TVs, you can use AirPlay 2 to stream music on multiple devices at the same time.

It also makes us wonder what the average user would make of this and Apple's wordsmithing will need to be spot on - otherwise, those of us who act as our parent's support hotline will be inundated with 'what does this mean son?' calls. The sensitive data will be encrypted and protected with iPhone passwords.

HomePod, which will be shipping starting February 9th and goes on sale Friday for US$349, will not initially have multi-room audio support.
