New Xbox Elite Wireless Controller model leaks with USB-C

To begin with, the new details suggests that an earlier leak showing the whole controller (from Reddit's EDDS86, below) is accurate: it'd have new grips that make sure your hands are steady in frantic sessions. As you can see from the images the new Elite Xbox controller will include a USB-C port for charging, Bluetooth connectivity for use with Windows 10 PC systems, three-level Hair Trigger Locks, longer key travel for the paddles, and a three-profile switch.

It also appears that you can even adjust the tension on the analogue sticks, which matches a patent filed by Microsoft, while an image posted to Reddit shows improved grip textures on each stick, in addition to a textured grip on the controller's "handles". However, from the sounds of it, this new Elite controller will be a pretty major upgrade.

When Microsoft unveiled the first Xbox One Elite Controller in 2015, many fans and critics called it the best controller ever. Microsoft had applied for a patent on this exact stick design in December, so there's at least some degree of truth to the claims.

In recent leaked images now confirmed by The Verge, it looks as though Xbox is set to pick up a refreshed Elite controller.

The agency has provided consumers about $12 billion in refunds and debt relief from financial institutions since opening in 2011. She is appealing the decision.

This is probably in response to Xbox users who have complained about the wearing-down of existing Elite controllers. The only question that remains is when exactly will Microsoft unveil this new version of the controller? This year's GDC will take place in San Francisco from March 19 until March 23.

Microsoft is hard at work on a new Xbox Elite Controller, according to several reports.
