The summer of 1982 was one of the most insanely awesome times ever to be in a nice air-conditioned movie theater. I can't remember how many times I saw the film that summer, but it was a lot.

At 163 minutes, this film is getting on for an hour longer than the first movie, but we are on a journey of discovery with K, with the same kind of questions raised about life and existence that were a vital part of director Ridley Scott's movie. "Blade Runner 2049" has released all over India.

Denis Villeneuve (Arrival) steps behind the camera for the R-rated sequel, which is based on a script from the original film's Hampton Fancher and Murder on the Orient Express' Michael Green.

A sequel to Blade Runner (1982), robots known as replicants with features of human beings, were created to help serve the goal of exploring new planets for human settlements. But assuming Warner Bros. orders a third Blade Runner, would Denis Villeneuve return in the director's chair?
