Donald Trump Tweets Victory Lap Over ESPN's Jemele Hill Suspension

Jemele Hill Suspended After Tweets On NFL Protests

The network, however, did not give specific reasons into why they have chose to suspend her. Hill on Sunday night, released a number tweets directed at Cowboys owner #Jerry Jones and criticizing his stance in wanting to bench players who kneel during the National Anthem. Barrie was scheduled to host the show from 7 p.m.to 9 p.m.

After Hill was suspended Monday, Smith sat out that evening's telecast - a decision a network source characterized as mutually made by Smith and ESPN.

Trump reacted to that, saying "ESPN is paying a really big price for its politics (and bad programming)".

Last night, Jemele raised eyebrows after publicly calling out the Dallas Cowboys' ownership for telling players they couldn't disrespect the National Anthem. A few days later, network President John Skipper issued a memo telling employees to avoid "inflammatory" comments on social media.

Microsoft Confirms Windows Phone Isn't Getting Resurrected Any Time Soon
Belfiore's tweets indicated that Microsoft can no longer survive in fierce competition against Apple's iOS and Google's Android. Belfiore's comments are another sign of the decline of the Windows mobile operating system in its current form.

The outspoken Hill, a frequent user of Twitter and Facebook, was already reprimanded by ESPN after she referred to Trump as a "white supremacist" on Twitter last month.

A protest was held there on Tuesday over the suspension of ESPN anchor Jemele Hill. The NFL and President Donald Trump have been at loggerheads over black players kneeling during anthems at the game to make a statement. Trump wrote in what is probably his interpretation of a classy response to the matter involving Hill, who was suspended for two weeks by the network for violating a social media use police. Not too long ago, she was under scrutiny when she tweeted that President Trump was a "white supremacist" and he was "the most ignorant, offensive president". The most generous reading of that first tweet is that she offered advice to people who may want to boycott the National Football League, which has a business relationship with her employer.

Hill would later express regret about making those comments in such a public way, saying they only "expressed (her) personal beliefs". On Sunday, Vice President Mike Pence attended an Indianapolis Colts game, but left after "The Star-Spangled Banner" when players from the San Francisco 49ers knelt during the anthem.

Hill's new tweets present a hard problem for ESPN.
