With seven games played we've seen some teams shine and others falter; we've seen some seriously impressive attacking moves and some worryingly basic defensive errors.

Marcus Rashford has eight goals, four assists, 42 shots and 19 shots on target in 12 games for club and country this season. It was at home to the so-called smaller terms where Mourinho's side dropped plenty of points last season, however, and that appears to have been rectified during the early stages of this campaign.

"It's not just a Liverpool problem", he added.

The former Reds defender told the BBC: "It was a big problem last season and everybody was hoping they could solve the problem". 7 goals in 7 games takes some doing and the Belgian appears to be the ideal fit to United's style, working well with Rashford and net 22 times already.

Both City and United have conceded just 2 league goals, though the Citizens have scored 22, compared to the Red Devils' 21.

Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross is the final of the seven men to be included on the shortlist after scoring twice and assisting another to seal a 3-1 win over West Brom, their first ever in the Premier League.

"The way it is at the moment, they have absolutely no chance of competing for the title".

Chelsea are the dark horses for the title this season, despite being the reigning champions.

Their only defeat was a humbling 5-0 loss away to championship favourites Manchester City.

"To defend as well as possible and concede less goals, that's the aim for all of us".

A talisman and legend after seven trophy-laden years at the Etihad Stadium, Aguero has started the season in blistering form and will look to continue that after recovering from a rib injury picked up in a vehicle accident in the Netherlands.
